On August 4, 2010, President Obama honored Mary K.’s lifetime of service with the Presidential Citizens Medal. This is the second highest honor a civilian can receive, and it recognizes Americans who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or fellow citizens.
Now that Mary K. has returned from Washington, D.C., our community is invited to celebrate this honor and the amazing, unstoppable woman who earned it.
